A Love Letter to our Customers...‪‪❤︎‬

Hi, readers! Today's blog is going to be a little bit of a different one. I would like to take on a little bit more of a personal voice and speak directly to our customers, past and prospective. I want to stress the importance of sharing with us your communication preferences so that we can exceed your expectations.


As you may already know (I hope!), Charming Movers offers an extremely wide array of services. We are able to do this through the many business relationships we have built over 20+ years in business. What we do is very different from most other moving companies. As a customer, I understand choosing a company can feel arbitrary, and the bottom line comes down to cost, comfort, and convenience.


In my experience working with prospective customers, cost is understandably the deciding factor in choosing a moving company for most people. We do offer competitive rates for our customers trying to save on cost, and are more than happy to share whatever helpful tips and tricks we have gathered over our many years in business to assist in the effort of saving on cost.


For those of our customers that are less concerned about cost, and convenience is a priority, Charming Movers is willing to take care of every single aspect of your move so you truly don't have to lift a finger. We can work directly with your realtors, contractors, and representatives to alleviate stress during the moving process.


I have written many blog posts about our array of services, but one that I feel I don't talk about enough is our unpacking service. It's a less common service that people want, but I feel as though it is one of our most important. I find offering this service very helpful to seniors and those with disabilities, as unpacking is the last step in an extremely exhausting process that many often forget about. Most people are focused on the move itself, and not what will happen when they finally arrive to their new home. Unpacking is a service you can leave completely up to us, or you can work side by side with our owner and professional movers throughout the service to assist in the organization of your new home.


Another service we can connect you with that I find helpful for seniors and people with disabilities is decluttering service. Charming Movers does offer this service, in which our founder Cheri and our dedicated team will work directly with your prior to your move to help decide what to take with your to your new home. Piece by piece, item by item, we are here to help, however long it takes. I find this service especially helpful for those experiencing the lost of a loved one or family member, as sorting through these belongings can be extremely difficult.

Our founder Cheri and Corliss met through being active in the same local networking groups, and she has helped serve our clients numerous times. I've done a bit of rambling in the above passages, but the main focus of this blog today is stressing the importance of fulling disclosing all of your moving needs and communication preferences for us to be able to provide the best possible service. From first contact, it is important to be transparent with us about how involved you would like to be in your moving process. If you would rather us communicate with your realtor or another member of your team, we are happy to do so. If you have your own storage option and you'd like us to communicate with them on your behalf, we'll do it! On the other hand, if you'd like to be privy to absolutely every detail of your move, we will absolutely keep you in the loop for every development of your move.
